Terrina Chrishell

 Terrina Christopherhell Stause was born July 21, 1982. She is best known for her character Amanda Dillon in All My Children and Jordan Ridgeway on Days of Our Lives. Stause was raised in Draffenville (Kentucky). She earned her degree from Murray State University with a B.A. She started performing in theater in 2003. The name she was given, Chishell, was a portmanteau that was created from the unusual circumstances surrounding her birth. Her mother was in labor at Shell Station and Chris her attendant assisted her birth the baby. Strause says that the gossip regarding her birth is untrue. She shared that her mother had problems with her car and pulled to the station. She was in pre-labor in the station. The attendant helped her to an hospital. Strause was born at the hospital. Her mother divorced from her biological father, who was half Japanese/half Spanish before she knew she was expecting. Jeff is her stepfather. Chrishell Strause missed middle school for a full year because she had to live in the shelter of a tent. Strause described her experience of taking her hair to the river, hiding from her friends, and how she used food stamps. Parents were suffering from mental health and addiction. Strause was 10 years old when she joined the Worldwide Church of God. Her mother never had an employment that was steady and Strause describes her as a free spirit and self-righteous.
