Maria Elena Bello
Maria Elena Bello (born April 18th 1967) is an American actress producer, writer, and actress. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly(2000), The Cooler(2003) The History of Violence(2005), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor2008 Prisoners 2013, Grown Ups 2010 and Lights Out (2016) are some of her films. On TV, Bello appeared as Dr. Anna Del Amico on the medical drama ER (1997-1998) and also in other starring roles including as Lucy Robbins on the series Touch in 2013. She also starred as Michelle McBride on the first season of the series Goliath in 2016, and from 2017 until 2021 as the Special Agent Jacqueline "Jack" Sloane in the series NCIS. Bello was born April 18 1967 in Norristown Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of Kathy, a school nurse and teacher and Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She grew up in a poor, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. [7][8] In political science Bello was a student in political science at Villanova University. Bello continued her training in acting by taking part in various New York theatre productions. Bello as well as Dan McDermott have a son, Jackson. [18] She published a blog in November of 2013 about her similar-sex relationship with Clare Munn, and how it ended. She released a book titled Whatever...Love Is love: Questioning the labels we give ourselves (Dey Street Books, April 28 in 2015).
