Lara Logan
Lara Logan, born 29 March 1971, is a South African radio and television journalist and war correspondent. She worked as an CBS News journalist from 2002 until 2018.60 Minutes executive Producer Jeff Fager called her factually inaccurate and politcally biased piece concerning the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack "the biggest mistake I've made on my 10-year-old watch." In 2019 she joined Sinclair Broadcast Group, which is a conservative media company. 4 On January 4, 2020 she joined Fox Nation. Fox News is a streaming service that requires a subscription. She claimed that she was "dumpedby the company in March 2022. Logan was an assistant news reporter at Durban's Sunday Tribune (1988-1989) and the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992, she joined Reuters Television in Africa, predominantly as an executive producer. After four years, she moved to freelance journalism. Assignments included those as producer/reporter/editor for ITN, Fox/SKY News in London, CBS News, ABC News in London, NBC, NBC and European Broadcasting Union. CNN reported on the events of the Northern Ireland and Kosovo wars.
